Santiago Centro
This district is the traditional and most central district of Santiago. Here you can find the main institutions of the government, such as the Parliament, etc. The stock-market of Santiago de Chile is also situated in this district. The most important stock-market-deals of Chile are handled in this building in Santiago Centro. The pedestrian zone “El Paseo Ahumada”, which is right next to the square “plaza de Armas” and the famous avenue “Avenida Liberador General Bernardo O´Higgins, is a very vivid and popular precinct, lined by various main shopping centres.
Apart from the main monuments, like the square “Plaza de Armas”, etc., Santiago Centro is also called the “student´s district”. In total, there are 60 universities in Santiago – there is not a single university in Chile outside of the capital. Within Santiago Centro there is the so-called “Barrio universitario de Santiago” – the district of universities- where all the important universities of Santiago de Chile are located, including Universidad Central, Universidad Andrés Bello, la Universidad de Chile, etc.
Obviously, in Santiago Centro is a high rental demand deriving from both, students and local inhabitants. Click here to see our property for sale in this district.
Ñuñoa
Mainly, the inhabitants of Ñuñoa belong to the middle class and some to the upper class. Due to the excellent infrastructure in this district, it is very easy to reach every imaginable spot of Santiago de Chile easily. Within this district, commercial activities take place in the avenue Irarrazaval, a road of 6 kilometres going through the whole municipality. The square Ñuñoa is the centre of the avenue Irarrazaval, known as “Nuñork” a mix of Ñuñoa and New York, due to its bohemian night life. Ñuñoa also hosts the biggest football stadium of the country and the only mosque of the city. In 2007 this district was elected, the third time in a row, best district with highest quality of life within Santiago de Chile. Many people who work in Las Condes or Providencia live in Ñuñoa, since it is cheaper than Las Condes and Providencia, but nevertheless offers a very elevated and modern lifestyle.
Being the oldest district of the traditional Eastern Santiago, Ñuñoa boasts all the desirable and modern advantages of a big city (subway, Banks, shopping centres, etc.), without scarifying its enchanting and traditional character. Recently, the multiple attractions and its outstanding location have attracted many young people and professionals to this area. Click here to see our property for sale in this district.
Las Condes
The inhabitants of this district are mainly Chilean of the upper class with a high income. Las Condes is, together with Providencia, the most prestigious and exclusive area of the whole city. The commercial area of Las Condes is the most attractive one of Chile, known as Sanhatten. Sanhatten is a word mix of Manhatten and Santiago with many modern offices and buildings, which has become the main business centre of the capital and is slowly but surely replacing the traditional business centre of Santiago, Santiago Centro.
More and more, big companies move from the old business centre to the new one in Las Condes, whereby this borough is not only getting more and more popular, but also growing continuously.

Providencia
Exactly like in las Condes, the people living in Providencia also belong to the middle-upper class of Santiago with and elevated living. This district is very sought-after not only by the local habitants, but also by the foreigners, due to its quiet and green location and its proximity to the financial district of Chile´s capital, Sanhatten. The location of Providencia is superb, due to its nearness to the old urban centre and at the same to the new business district, Las Condes and some universities in Ñuñoa. The Avenue “Avenida Providencia” is the prolongation of the main axis of the city, the avenue "Alameda del Liberador Bernardo O´Higgins".
The rent in Providencia is normally cheaper than in Las Condes. Although more competitive priced, Providencia offers a wide range of exclusive apartments along the subway line number 1.
